Our third day was a magical day. We visited Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
Ice Ice Baby
Icebergs break off in to the lagoon. It is a very cool sight to see. There is a lookout spot before the main viewing point. We decided to pull over and walk over to the lagoon. There were only two other people, so we had this location to ourselves for awhile.
A few minutes down the road and over the bridge is the main lookout point of the glacier lagoon. You can sign up for a glacier lagoon boat tour or relax for a bit in the cafe. It was crowded so I recommend going to the other lookout point for some peace and quiet before or after this spot.
Once we were done admiring the beautiful icebergs, we headed over the Diamond Beach. I have never seen a view like this before! Icebergs from the lagoon drift ashore. So yea its a pretty magical site to see.

After a busy morning, we decided to relax a bit at Hoffell Hot Tubs. This spot is not far from Hofn. There are five hot tubs to choose from. The water temperature was nice and hot, finally! Very relaxing. The cost was 1000 isk per person. Considering it was not crowded and there are bathrooms and a changing room, I thought it was a reasonable price. It was very windy that day, so I suggest keeping everything in the changing room or it will blow way, in to another hot tub, just like my jacket did.

Once we were done soaking up the hot water, we drove to Höfn. This was about a 20 minute drive. Höfn is a cute town. This was our last destination for the day so we were able to walk around and explore the town without feeling rushed. We grabbed some food at Ishusid Pizzeria. We decided to treat ourselves to a few beers and two pizzas! We ended the night by taking a few photos of a very beautiful sunset and then headed to our campsite: Camping Höfn
The campsite offered free wifi in the main office building. Park as close as you can if you want to access the wifi at night. There were showers but we did not use them. I did read that they cost extra.

Day 3 complete! Next, Day 4
